If you’re looking for encouragement today, this bloom where you are planted devotional will remind you that God is at work in every season of your life.

Hey sweet friends — today I want to invite you to take a little pause, grab a cup of coffee, and lean in with me. In this bloom where you are planted devotional, I’m sharing some encouragement from Season 2, Episode 1 of my podcast Unscripted Conversations — all about learning to trust God’s plan in every season.

If you’re walking through a season that feels uncertain… if life didn’t turn out quite the way you thought it would… or if you’re just longing to trust God a little deeper — this devotional is for you.

Trusting God’s Plan: A Bloom Where You Are Planted Devotional

To be honest, y’all — we don’t always get to choose our season.

We don’t always get to choose our circumstances, our timeline, or even where we’ve been planted.

Even so, here’s the beautiful truth: God does. And He never makes a mistake.

“The Lord will guide you continually, giving you water when you are dry and restoring your strength. You will be like a well-watered garden, like an ever-flowing spring.” — Isaiah 58:11 NLT

Think about a little seed tucked down in the dirt. It can’t move itself to a different garden or choose a sunnier spot. However, in the right time and with the right care, that seed blooms.

In the same way, sometimes our hearts feel buried… overlooked… or stuck. Yet even when we can’t see it, God works beneath the surface. He prepares us to bloom.

“So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow.” — 1 Corinthians 3:7 NLT

What It Means to Bloom Where You’re Planted

Here are a few ways I’m learning to lean in and trust the process. For this reason, perhaps they will encourage you, too.

🌿 Tend to what’s in front of you.

Rather than wishing for a different season, pause and ask: Lord, what do You want me to tend to right here, right now?

🌸 Embrace small beginnings.

Every beautiful bloom starts with tiny, unseen growth. For that reason, be faithful in the little things — they matter more than you think.

☀️ Stay rooted in truth.

Even more importantly, keep watering your heart with the Word. Continue to show up and trust that God is growing something good.

“Blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank…” — Jeremiah 17:7 NLT
