Don’t miss the miracle, y’all. That’s the heart of this week’s Unscripted Conversations. Episode 18 is live, and we’re talking about seeing God’s hand in everyday provision.
If you’re like me, you’ve probably prayed for those big, flashy miracles—fire-from-heaven moments. But what if the miracle isn’t something you’re waiting on… what if it’s something you’re already holding in your hands?
That’s what we’re diving into today.

Daily Bread: Don’t miss the Miracle in the Ordinary

We talk about Matthew 6:11, “Give us this day our daily bread.” For me, that verse became real when I was a single mama with only thirty dollars to feed my boys. I had my calculator out in the grocery store, adding up every item, praying it wouldn’t go over. And wouldn’t you know—the clerk said I’d won free groceries. I cried right there at the checkout. It was manna — God’s provision right when I needed it. It was daily bread, a reminder that He sees even the smallest details. And to me, that was a miracle.

Jesus, the Bread of Life — Our Greatest Miracle

Then we move into John 6:35, where Jesus says, “I am the bread of life.” He’s not just giving us bread—He IS the bread. He’s our source, our strength, our everything. And just like bread and water are the basics we need to survive, Jesus is all we need to make it through whatever this wild and crazy world throws at us.

Finding the Miracle of Contentment

1 Timothy 6:6 tells us, “But godliness with contentment is great gain.” I’ve learned (sometimes the hard way) that life never really “slows down.” We thought it would after the house was built. Nope. When Phillip graduated. Nope. After the wedding. Nope. There’s always something.

But contentment doesn’t come when life finally settles—it comes when we choose to rest in the blessings God’s already given us. Waking up in the morning, laying down at night knowing your loved ones are safe—that’s contentment. And that’s a miracle too.

The Shepherd Who Provides — Psalm 23

We close out with the comfort of Psalm 23. The King James says, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” The Message puts Psalm 23 like this, “God, my shepherd! I don’t need a thing… you let me catch my breath and send me in the right direction.”

Whether you read the old familiar or the fresh new, it’s the same truth: when the Lord is your Shepherd, you lack nothing. That’s the miracle.
