DIY One Nation Under God Sign: Wood Door Round

This One Nation Under God sign truly spoke to my heart, y’all. You know I have a soft spot for faith-based patriotic decor — and this piece is one of my favorites!

There’s just something special about creating pieces that not only celebrate our beautiful country but also proclaim God’s goodness over it. This simple yet stunning project came together with just a few supplies and a whole lot of love — and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out!

Supplies I Used to make this One Nation Under God Sign:

• One Nation Under God Wood Sign Cutout Kit
• Prussian Blue acrylic paint
• Barn Red acrylic paint
• Vintage White acrylic paint
• Dixie Belle’s No Pain Gel Stain (I used Walnut)
• Nominee Chalk Paste (for that standout gold star ⭐️)
• Art Glitter Glue (my go-to for precision gluing)

That’s it — y’all know I’m all about keeping my DIYs simple, affordable, and full of heart.

How I Created This One Nation Under God Sign :

I started by painting the top section of the round with that beautiful deep Prussian Blue — it gives such a rich, vintage feel and really makes the stars pop!

Next, I stained the middle section in a warm wood tone to give it that aged farmhouse style we all love. You could also paint this section if you want a bolder look!

For the bottom stripes, I used Barn Red and Vintage White — one of my favorite farmhouse color combos — to give it that classic Americana vibe.

The gold star was done with Nominee Chalk Paste — it gave the perfect soft shimmer without being too bold. Once all my pieces were fully dry, I used Art Glitter Glue to attach everything nice and secure.

And oh my stars ✨ — when I saw it all come together, my heart just swelled.
