Unscripted Conversations – Episode 4
Podcast Host: Ashley Finch | SimplyBlessedDesignz

Welcome to this seasons of life podcast blog from Unscripted Conversations—a Christian podcast where we talk about real life and real faith. In this episode, we’re diving into the seasons of life and how God moves in each one. Whether you’re walking through a spring of new beginnings or a winter of stillness, this episode will remind you: you are never walking alone.

🌸 Spring: New Beginnings & Hope

Spring is the season of new growth. The ground softens, seeds sprout, and what once felt dormant begins to bloom again. In life, spring can feel like a fresh start—a new job, restored relationship, or even a spiritual awakening.
Isaiah 43:19 (NLT) — “For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it?”
In this episode, I share how spring seasons often come after a long winter. And even when we don’t notice it right away, God has already started something beautiful under the surface.

☀️ Summer: Growth, Fruit & Stretching

Summer brings visible fruit, but it also brings the heat. This season represents hard work, energy, and purpose—but it can also feel heavy if we’re trying to carry it alone.
Galatians 6:9 — “So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.”
We talk in the episode about how summer seasons are full—but staying rooted in God keeps us from burnout.

🍂 Fall: Letting Go & Trusting the Process

Fall is both a time of harvest and a time of release. Trees let go of what they no longer need. In life, fall seasons invite us to let go—of expectations, timelines, control, or even things that once served us.
Ecclesiastes 3:1 — “For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.”
Sometimes letting go is hard, but it creates space for what God wants to do next.

❄️ Winter: Stillness, Reflection & Deep Growth

Winter is quiet, but powerful. Even though things appear still, growth is happening below the surface. This is often the season where God invites us to slow down and lean in.
Psalm 46:10 — “Be still and know that I am God.”
In the episode, I talk about my own winter season—what it looked like, how God met me in it, and what I learned about resting in His timing

  1. Oh my lands. I had not listened to any of the podcasts (bad me). I started them yesterday and finished them all today. Season 2 episode 3 had me in tears. It really hit close to home in my heart. I had gotten out of the habit of reading my Bible. I trust him in everything but my heart was not listening to him. I really need to let everything go and let him handle it. I have been in the winter season and storms have ravaged me, so I really need to open my eyes and see what he is showing me. These podcasts have really opened my heart and my eyes. I have ordered the study Bible that you showed us and need to start reading it and I know my eyes will open more fully and I will see what God is showing me. I thank you from my heart for bringing me fully back in trusting the Lord to handle my life.
