Ingredients

For the Parmesan Crusted Chicken:

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt or 1/8 tsp for low sodium
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon rosemary OR thyme fresh or dried

For the Creamy Garlic Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup butter unsalted
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt or 1/8 tsp for low sodium
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • 1️⃣ Preheat air fryer to 375°F.
  • 2️⃣ In a shallow dish, combine Parmesan cheese, flour, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and rosemary.
  • 3️⃣ Pat chicken thighs dry. (Optional: Dip in 2 beaten eggs before coating.)
  • 4️⃣ Coat chicken thighs in Parmesan mixture.
  • 5️⃣ Place in air fryer basket. Air fry at 375°F for 18–22 minutes, flipping halfway, until internal temp reaches 175°F–185°F.
  • 6️⃣ While chicken cooks, make the sauce: In saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Add garlic; cook 1–2 min.
  • 7️⃣ Whisk in heavy cream, Parmesan, basil, salt, and pepper. Simmer 5–7 min until thickened.
  • 8️⃣ Serve chicken topped with creamy garlic sauce. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Sometimes I like to take the Creamy Garlic Sauce up a notch and I add in some Sun-dried Tomato Pesto. Delicious!
  • Serve with mashed potatoes, pasta, rice, or veggies.
  • Great for busy weeknights or special occasions!
